my.roku.com/subscriptions | Managing Roku Subscriptions

You can manage, cancel, or update your Roku-billed subscriptions by visiting the official page: https://my.roku.com/subscriptions. Locate the active subscription you want to end.

Quick Guide to Managing Subscriptions

Once you sign in, you will see two lists: Active Subscriptions and Expired Subscriptions.

To Cancel a Subscription:

  1. Locate the active subscription you want to end.

  2. Click Manage subscription.

  3. Select Turn off auto-renew.

    • Note: The subscription will remain active until the current billing cycle ends, but you will not be charged again.

To Update Payment Method:

Troubleshooting: “I can’t find my subscription!”

If you are being charged but the subscription is not listed on that page, it is likely for one of these three reasons:

1. You are billed directly by the service (Not Roku)

Roku acts as a middleman for many channels, but not all. If you signed up via the Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ website directly, your billing is handled by them, not Roku.

  • Fix: Log in to the service’s own website (e.g., netflix.com or disneyplus.com) to cancel.

2. You have a second Roku account

It is common to accidentally create a second account when setting up a new device.

  • Fix: On your TV, go to Settings > System > About. Check the email address listed there. If it is different from the one you logged into on the website, you are looking at the wrong account.

3. It is a “Premium Subscription” on The Roku Channel

Sometimes subscriptions are hidden inside “The Roku Channel” rather than appearing as a standalone app.

  • Fix: On the subscriptions page, look specifically for a line item that says “The Roku Channel” or look for the specific channel name grouped under that heading.

How to Read Your Bank Statement

Your bank statement often tells you where the charge is coming from:

  • “Roku for [Channel Name]” (e.g., “Roku for HBO Max”): This is billed by Roku; manage it at the link above.

  • “The Roku Channel”: This is a premium subscription inside Roku’s own free channel app.

  • “[Channel Name]” directly (e.g., “Netflix.com”): This is not billed by Roku; you must contact the service directly.
