Molina is always looking for ways to add value to their members! Introducing an additional value for 2021 plan members: A grocery debit card will be sent to Molina Medicare members* allowing them to use it through the end of 2021.

What:

A $50 debit card to use for groceries will be sent to current Molina Medicare members*. This ONE time $50.00 (Master card) for grocery purchases only, to help members eat healthy during this Public Health Emergency (COVID-19).

When:

  • Current members will be sent a notification letter about the benefit week of 9/13.
  • Thursday 9/16, Members will be mailed the card with instructions on how to use it.
  • They must activate the card. They can call or go online to activate/register.
  • Members who effectuate in October and November will receive the letter and the card after their effectuation date.

Where:

  • This card can be used in-person at specific retailers or online at NationsOTC.com/Molina.
  • Please note: only grocery purchases will be allowed on this card (no alcohol, tobacco or firearms).
  • You can see the covered retailers that will accept this card in your territory by viewing this document.

What can you do:

  • Use this additional value as an opportunity to reach out to your existing members and encourage them to stay with Molina in 2022.
  • Let them know this card is coming and they will be able to use this $50 at several retailers in their area or have food sent directly to their home (NationsOTC.com/Molina).
  • What they don’t use will expire on 12/31/21, so encourage your members to use it right away.

Where can the member use this grocery (visa) card

Answer: SELECT Local retailers store (i.e., Kroger, Walmart, CVS, etc.).  To view participating retailers, visit  Members.NationsBenefits.com/Molina.  Groceries can also be ordered online at Members.NationsBenefits.com/Molina

How does the member receive the card/cardholder

Answer: For current members the card/card holder was mailed out by Nations in September. Members who effectuate in October and November will receive the letter and the card after their effectuation date.

What is the 2021 grocery benefit

Answer: A ONE time $50.00 (Master card) for a grocery only, to help our members eat healthy during this Public Health Emergency (COVID-19)

Over-the-counter (OTC) items (Supplemental)

You pay $0 for these services if using your MyChoice Card. You get $310 every quarter to spend on plan-approved OTC items, products, and medications with your MyChoice Card. See “MyChoice Card” section for more information.

You have $310 every quarter (3 If you don’t use all of your quarterly benefit amount, the remaining balance months) to spend on will expire and not rollover to the next benefit period. plan-approved OTC items, products, and medications.

Your coverage includes non-prescription OTC health and wellness items like vitamins, sunscreen, pain relievers, cough and cold medicine, and bandages.

2. By Phone – 877-208-9243 to speak with a NationsOTC Member Experience Advisor at (TTY 711), 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
365 days a year.

3. By Mail – Fill out and return the order form in the product catalog.
