The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) portal (mca.gov.in) is experiencing significant intermittent outages and technical glitches today, November 21, 2025.
While the site is not “officially” completely down, many users are reporting it is effectively unusable due to high traffic and ongoing V3 portal transition issues.
Here is the current status and how you can try to fix it.
Current Status: Glitchy & Slow
High Traffic Alert: Today is a deadline for certain e-voting and filing activities, causing a surge in traffic.
V3 Portal Issues: The transition from Version 2 (V2) to Version 3 (V3) is causing specific errors, including:
Login Loops: Users entering correct credentials but getting “Invalid User/Password” or being redirected back to the homepage.
Session Locks: If a page crashes, your account may get “locked” thinking you are still logged in.
“Something Went Wrong”: A generic error appearing during password resets or form uploads.

Immediate Workarounds (Try These First)
If you are stuck, do not keep clicking “Login” repeatedly, as this will lock your account.
The “15-Minute Rule” (Crucial):
If you fail to log in or the page freezes, stop immediately.
Wait 15–20 minutes before trying again. The server holds your previous session active for this long; trying sooner just resets the timer and keeps you locked out.
Clear Specific Cache:
The V3 portal is very sensitive to old browser data.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac).
Select “Cached images and files” and “Cookies” and clear them.
Use “Incognito” or Edge:
Try opening the site in an Incognito/Private window (
Ctrl + Shift + N).If you are using Chrome, switch to Microsoft Edge, as it often handles the MCA’s security certificates better.
Use the “Forgot Password” Trick:
Some users have bypassed the login glitch by using the “Forgot Password” feature. Resetting it can sometimes “refresh” your account’s connection to the V3 server.
Important Compliance Note
Due to these persistent glitches, the MCA has recently extended the deadline for filing Annual Returns (Forms MGT-7/MGT-7A) and Financial Statements (AOC-4) for FY 2024-25 until December 31, 2025, without additional fees.
If you are panicking about a filing due today, check if your specific form falls under this extension.
