To enter the festival, unlock emergency safety features, and enable Cashless payments, you must activate your wristband online before arriving.

• Go to the official Lollapalooza wristband activation page and enter your unique wristband ID, found on the inside of the band. Then add an emergency contact and link a payment method (Venmo, PayPal, credit or debit card), and create a PIN for cashless transactions.

• While activation isn’t technically mandatory, Lolla advises that activated wristbands get quicker assistance at the gates if issues arise.

2. 💰 Cashless Payment & Bonus Credit

• When you register your wristband for Lollapalooza’s cashless system, you can make payments for food, drinks, merch, and more simply by tapping your wristband and entering your PIN.

• Register using Venmo before 5 PM CT on August 3, 2025 to qualify for a one-time $10 credit toward purchases. This offer is limited to the first 7,500 registrants.

3. 📦 Shipping, Pickup & Wristband Replacements

• Wristbands are mailed about one month before the festival, generally arriving between late July and early August. If purchased within a week before the festival, you’ll pick them up at Will Call / Box Office in Chicago.

• If you haven’t received your wristband a week before the event, contact Front Gate Tickets to arrange pickup at Wristband Assistance. Bring your order confirmation and a government‑issued ID.

• For lost, damaged, or overly tightened wristbands, the original purchaser may visit Wristband Assistance (corner of Michigan Ave & Ida B. Wells North) in person to replace it—limited to one replacement per order with a $25 fee.

• Do not put on or tighten your wristband until you’re physically ready to enter the festival—once secured, it cannot be loosened or removed.

• Wristbands are non-transferable and must stay on for the entire event. Any attempt to alter, remove, or counterfeit them will void entry.

• You can exit and re-enter the festival up to 2 times per day by scanning your wristband at the gate.
