You can activate your new credit card in your nearest Lloyds Bank branch. You can also activate your new credit card over the phone at 0800 032 0444.

Getting started – find out everything you need to know about activating your Lloyds Bank credit card.

You’ll need your credit card to hand and we will need some of your personal information to complete the activation. If you’re already registered with Internet Banking, you’ll also need your log on details.

Depending on which credit cards you wish to set up, activating will enable you to use online features, including:

  • setting up balance transfers
  • viewing online statements – Paper-free is a way that you can receive electronic statements and/or correspondence for eligible credit cards
  • setting up a Direct Debit – with a direct debit you have control over how much you choose to pay each month.

If you’re not already registered for Internet Banking, you can still activate your new credit card securely online.

Once you’ve activated your credit card you will also be given the option to create an Internet Banking account.

In just a few easy steps you can activate your credit card and register for Internet Banking.

Please complete the details below and click ‘Activate’.

1. Enter your Card Number. This is the 13 to 16-digit number on the front of your credit card.

2. Now Enter your Date of birth.

3. Lastly enter the Expiry Date on the Card.

4. Click on Activate Button and the Card will be activated.

You can activate your new credit card in your nearest Lloyds Bank branch.

The branch staff are available to help you setup your new Lloyds Bank credit card.

You can now activate your Lloyds Bank credit card using our Mobile Banking app.

Just look for the prompt within the notification centre on the homepage to activate your credit card.

How do I register for Internet Banking?

It’s easy to register and takes about 5 minutes to complete.

  • Enter your personal details
    Name, date of birth, postcode and account details for one of your Lloyds Bank accounts.
  • Choose a username and password
    You will need access to a phone and we may need to send you an activation code in the post.
