Lego Website Not Working | Lego Website Down

The LEGO website is operational globally. There is no widespread outage.  However, they recently had issues with BrickLink, the problem is likely linked to the new unified account system or regional redirection.

Here are the specific fixes for the most common issues right now.

1. The “Login Loop” (Most Likely Cause)

Since September 2025, LEGO has been merging “LEGO Insiders” accounts with “BrickLink” accounts. This transition has caused a major glitch where users get stuck in a loop between the two sites.

  • The Fix:

    1. Open a Private/Incognito window.

    2. Go to lego.com and try to sign in.

    3. Crucial: If asked for a username, use your LEGO Insiders Username, not your email address. The system currently struggles to verify emails during this merge phase in some regions.

2. Regional Redirect Issue

You are likely trying to access the Global/US site (lego.com/en-us), but the system is forcing you to the catalog (lego.com/en-in).

  • The Problem: The India version of the LEGO website is primarily a catalog. It often does not allow direct purchasing in the same way the US site does (redirecting you to Amazon.in or Hamleys for the actual buy).

  • The Fix:

    • Check the URL bar. If it says en-in, you are viewing the “view-only” version where many shopping features are disabled.

    • You cannot force the US store to ship to India. If you need to manage your account or view the global catalog, scroll to the very bottom of the page, click “Change Region” (flag icon), and select United States or United Kingdom.

3. ISP / DNS Block

If the site simply refuses to load (White screen or “Site can’t be reached”), it is likely the same ISP filtering issue affecting your other sites.

  • The Fix: Enable the “Private DNS” setting on your Android device (set to dns.google).

4. “Access Denied” Error

If you see a white screen with “Access Denied” text:

  • This happens when the LEGO security system flags your IP address as “suspicious” (common with shared internet connections in India).

  • Fix: disconnect from your Wi-Fi and try loading the site using Mobile Data (4G/5G). If it loads, your home Wi-Fi IP is temporarily soft-banned by LEGO’s servers.

Summary Checklist:

  • Can’t Login? Use Incognito mode + Username (not email).

  • Can’t Buy? You are likely on the India catalog page (view only).

  • Won’t Load? Turn on Private DNS.
