Josh Sweat and Nate Herbig will miss the Eagles’ wild-card game at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday because of injury.
Sweat (illness) and Herbig (ankle) were both rated as questionable going into the weekend, and their status remains that way today.
Before Sunday’s game, the Eagles released a statement explaining that Sweat was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night and was being treated for a “life-threatening” condition.
In Herbig’s stead, the seasoned Sua Opeta will take the field. Opeta has a little experience, but it’s at the right guard position that he lacks depth.

Herbig was dressed in casual attire as Opeta warmed up in his game pants during early warmups.
