How do students log in/join the game?

Between 3 and 100 students can play simultaneously. If your group is smaller than 9, we’ll fill the remaining spaces with robots to keep things social and collaborative. These robots will submit their own texts and vote for the humans in your classroom.

WeWillWrite has a robust filter to catch inappropriate language and prevent students from using classmates’ names in their texts. Any texts that violate these rules are automatically removed from the game. Additionally, you will be able to see which texts were removed by navigating to “Student Texts” in the sidebar of the portal.

Here’s how it generally works:

1. Teacher’s Role:

   • The teacher creates a “challenge” or class on the We Will Write platform. The platform then generates a unique code for that specific challenge or class.

2. Student’s Role:

   • The student goes to the website and enters the code provided by their teacher to join the correct class and participate in the writing activities.
