To log in to JioCinema (now JioHotstar), Download the JioCinema App or Hotstar App. Once installed, open the JioCinema app on your mobile device. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your Jio number.
Follow these steps:
1. Using the JioCinema App (Mobile):
- Download the JioCinema App: If you haven’t already, download the JioCinema app from the Google Play Store (for Android) or the Apple App Store (for iOS).
- Open the App: Once installed, open the JioCinema app on your mobile device.
- Tap on “Login”: On the welcome screen, you should see a “Login” button. Tap on it.
- Login with Jio Number: You can log in using your Jio mobile number. Enter your Jio number and tap “Send OTP”.
- Enter OTP: You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your Jio number. Enter the OTP to authenticate and log in.
- Start Watching: Once logged in, you can access all the content on JioCinema.

2. Using the JioCinema Website (Desktop)
- Visit the Website: Go to the official JioCinema website at https://www.jiocinema.com.
- Click on “Login”: On the top right of the homepage, click the “Login” button.
- Login with Jio Number: Enter your Jio mobile number and click “Send OTP”.
- Enter OTP: You will receive an OTP on your Jio mobile number. Enter the OTP to complete the login process.
- Start Streaming: Once you’re logged in, you can access and start watching your favorite shows and movies.
3. Using JioTV or JioSet Top Box
- If you’re accessing JioCinema through a JioSet-top box or JioTV, you should already be logged in if your Jio SIM is inserted or activated on the device.
- If needed, follow on-screen instructions to log in using your Jio mobile number.
Additional Tips:
- Ensure your Jio number is active and has a valid internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to stream content.
- If you are facing any issues with login, try clearing your app cache or updating the app to the latest version.
