Go to the official portal: jeevanpramaan.gov.in
On the portal, choose “Pensioner Sign-in / Download Life Certificate”.
Enter your Pramaan ID or your Aadhaar number when prompted.
After authentication, you can download the PDF copy of your Life Certificate (DLC).
Save or print the PDF for your records or to submit to your Pension Disbursing Agency (PDA).

Your Aadhaar number.
Your mobile number (the one registered with Aadhaar) to receive OTP.
Pramaan ID (if you already generated the certificate).
A device (PC/laptop/mobile) with internet access.
Optional: If you’re generating the certificate (not just downloading), you may need a biometric device OR face authentication via a phone camera.

If you haven’t generated your certificate yet, you’ll need to do the generation step first (via the app or at a centre) before you can download it.
Ensure you are using the official site/app — avoid third-party links to protect your Aadhaar/pension privacy.
In case you face errors (OTP not received, certificate not found), check with your bank or pension agency since sometimes the bank/account details need to be correctly linked.
The certificate is valid for your pension disbursing purposes and is sent to the repository which the agency uses.
