For Humana Military (TRICARE East Region), there is a specific self-service portal distinct from the standard commercial Humana provider portal.

1. Direct Login & Registration

• Official Provider Login: HumanaMilitary.com/hmlogin

  • Click “Log in” and select “Provider” from the dropdown.

• New User Registration:

  • If you have not set up an account, click “Create account” on the login page.

  • Required Info: You will need your 9-digit Tax ID (TIN) or EIN.

  • Validation: To link your account to your practice immediately, you typically need an “Activation Code” (from a Humana rep) OR a recent “Fax Key Code” (found on a recent authorization fax sent to your office).

2. Important: Are you in the East or West Region?

There is a major contractor transition happening in 2025 that affects where you log in.

• TRICARE East (Humana Military): Use the link above. This covers the eastern US (e.g., FL, GA, TX, OH, etc.).

• TRICARE West (TriWest): If you are treating patients in the West Region, Humana Military is no longer your contractor as of 2025. You must use the Availity Essentials portal for TriWest.

3. Common Login Issues & Fixes

• “Access Denied” or Spinning Wheel:

  • Humana Military’s site is highly sensitive to browser security.

  • Fix: Use Microsoft Edge or Chrome. Avoid Safari if possible.

  • Cache: Clear your browser cache (Ctrl + Shift + Del) if you get stuck in a login loop.

• Account Locked:

  • Accounts lock after 3 failed attempts. You must use the “Forgot Password” link to self-reset. If that fails, you have to call support to unlock it manually.

• “TIN Not Found”:
