Who is eligible for the Black Friday promo?
New and eligible returning subscribers (who have not been Hulu subscribers in the past month) are able to sign up for the Black Friday promotion. If you sign up for Hulu through a third party you are not able to get the deal. Additionally, existing Hulu subscribers are not eligible for this particular promotion.
I signed up for the Black Friday promo last year. Can I get it again this year?
Existing Hulu subscribers — including those who signed up for the Black Friday promo last year — are not eligible this time around. If you’ve had Hulu previously but have not been a subscriber in the past month, you are eligible for this offer.
How do I sign up?
Eligible subscribers are able to sign up for this amazing deal by visiting hulu.com/welcome on a computer or mobile browser.*

- Select the ad-supported Hulu plan
- Create an account by entering the required information, then click Continue
- Add your billing info then click Submit
- Select any add-ons. You can then click Review Changes and review any changes you’ve made or begin streaming

Can I sign up using a gift card?
You must use a valid credit or debit card to redeem the Black Friday promo, but you can apply a gift card to your account after you complete the signup process.
Is there a free trial?
This offer is not combinable with any free trial or other offers, so you’ll be charged your first monthly payment of $1.99 immediately upon signup.
Can I switch to/sign up for a different Hulu plan?
The discounted price of $1.99/month is only valid for the Hulu (ad-supported) plan. Switching to Hulu (No Ads), Hulu + Live TV with Disney+ and ESPN+, or the Disney Bundle after signing up will result in forfeiture of the discount. If you decide to switch back to the Hulu (ad-supported) plan, you will be charged the regular $7.99/month (or the then current price) subscription fee and will not resume at the discount price.
Can I sign up for the Black Friday promo and The Disney Bundle?
The Black Friday offer is valid for a standalone subscription to the Hulu (ad-supported) plan upon redemption. The promotion cannot be combined with any other promotional offers or pricing on base plans or Disney Bundles.
Can I sign up for any add-ons with this deal?
Yes! If you’re interested in one of our Partner or Premium Add-ons, you can add them to your plan for additional monthly subscription fees. The available add-ons to choose from are:
