To activate the CTV app on your Smart TV or streaming device (Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, etc.), you must use the official activation page.
1. The Official Activation URL
Go to this website on your computer or smartphone: ctv.ca/activate
2. Step-by-Step Activation Guide
On your TV: Open the CTV app.
Navigate: Go to the Account or Sign In section in the app menu.
Get Code: Select “Sign In.” A 5-7 digit activation code will appear on your TV screen.
On your Phone/PC: Enter the URL
ctv.ca/activateinto your web browser.Log In: You will be asked to sign in with your TV Service Provider (e.g., Bell, Rogers, Shaw, Telus).
Note: You need a cable/satellite subscription to complete this step.
Enter Code: Once logged in, type the code displayed on your TV screen into the website.
Success: Your TV screen should refresh automatically, and you can start watching.

3. Troubleshooting Common Issues
“Code Invalid” or Expired: The code only lasts for a few minutes. If it expires, select “Get New Code” on your TV to generate a fresh one.
Webpage Not Loading: Ensure you are not using “Private” or “Incognito” mode, as this can sometimes block the login cookies required for the TV provider verification.
Looping Login: If the site keeps asking you to log in repeatedly, clear your browser’s cache or try a different browser (e.g., use Chrome instead of Safari).
No TV Provider? You cannot “activate” the full app without a TV subscription. However, you can still watch “CTV Throwback” and “CTV Movies” sections for free without signing in.
4. Direct Links for Help
Forgot Password? Contact your TV service provider (Bell, Rogers, etc.), as CTV cannot reset your cable account password.
App Crashing? Delete the CTV app from your device and reinstall it to force an update.
