The Thackeray government of Mumbai State had announced a financial assistance of Rs 1500 for each auto driver holding the permit . Now going to implement it. This will put a burden of Rs 107 crore on the coffers of the government.

The government will deposit Rs 1500 directly into the bank accounts of rickshaw drivers.

In this, the permit holder rickshaw drivers will have to register their Aadhaar number, vehicle number and license number etc. online. After this investigation, the money will be deposited in the online linked bank account. According to Transport Minister Anil Parab, the website for this will be released on www.transport.maharashtra.gov.in. For this rickshaw permit holders are required to link their bank accounts with Aadhaar card.

देशभर में कोरोना महामारी और फिर ऊपर से लॉकडाउन व कर्फ्यू लागू रहने के कारण कई क्षेत्र के लोगों को आर्थिक संकट से जूझना पड़ रहा है। इसी संकट से जूझ रहे महाराष्ट्र के ऑटो रिक्शा चालकों के लिए सरकार ने मंगलवार को अहम फैसला लिया है। दरअसल, राज्य सरकार ने यहां के ऑटो रिक्शा चालकों के लिए 107 करोड़ रुपये के आर्थिक पैकेज की घोषणा की है। बता दें, प्रदेश में सरकार की तरफ से चलाए जा रहे ब्रेक द चेन अभियान के तहत 15 दिनों के लिए सात लाख 15 हजार रिक्शा चालकों को 1500 रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता दी जाएगी।

ऑटो चालकों को आय की हानि से बचाने के लिए लिया गया फैसला

आधिकारिक विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है कि राज्य सरकार और ऑटो रिक्शा यूनियनों के नेताओं के बीच बैठक के बाद यह निर्णय लिया गया। विज्ञप्ति में यह भी बताया गया है कि 15 दिनों के अभियान के दौरान ऑटो चालकों को आय की हानि से बचाने के लिए उनके आधार से लिंक किए गए बैंक खातों में रुपये ऑनलाइन भेजे जाएंगे। इसके लिए एक सिस्टम तैयार किया जा रहा है, जिसमें ड्राइवरों के लाइसेंस और वाहन संख्या आदि का विवरण होगा।

ब्रेक द चेन अभियान

उल्लेखनीय हैउल्लेखनीय है कि महाराष्ट्र में कोविड-19 के मामलों में वृद्धि पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए सरकार 14 अप्रैल से एक मई के बीच ब्रेक द चेन नाम से एक अभियान चला रही है। 15 दिनों तक चलने वाले इस अभियान के तहत राज्य में कुछ नए नियम लागू किए गए हैं। नए नियमों के अनुसार राज्य में 14 अप्रैल की रात आठ बजे से धारा 144 लागू है। इस दौरान जरूरी सेवाओं को छोड़ कर सभी सेवाओं पर रोक है। दफ्तर व दुकानें बंद रखने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं और लोगों के घरों से बाहर निकलने पर भी रोक है।

जरूरी सेवाएं भी सिर्फ सुबह सात से रात आठ बजे तक चालू रखने को कहा गया है। पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट सीमित रूप से चलता रहेगा, लेकिन आम लोग लोकल ट्रेनों और बसों में सफर नहीं कर सकते हैं। पुलिस, पानी सप्लाई और महानगरपालिका के कर्मचारी ही पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं। इसके अलावा कृषि क्षेत्र से जुड़े लोगों के लिए भी ये सेवाएं चालू रहेंगी। बैंक खुल रहेंगे और ई-कॉमर्स सेवाएं भी बंद नहीं होंगी। पाबंदियों के दौरान मीडिया कवरेज को पूरी छूट होगी। होटल और रेस्टोरेंट बंद रहेंगे। हालांकि, लोग घर बैठे सामान ऑर्डर कर सकते हैं।
