Why is a game listed as Unavailable or not visible on the Epic Games Store?

Games are listed as Unavailable or not visible on the Epic Games Store for one of two reasons:

  1. Your account already owns the content that’s included in the product. For example, if you purchase Borderlands 3 Standard Edition, you won’t be able to purchase the Deluxe or Super Deluxe Edition.If you’re unable to purchase an upgrade to a different version of the game, you can request a refund on your account. If you’re eligible for a refund and once it is processed, you’ll be able to purchase another version of the game
  2. Your account is located in a region where the game is not available to purchase. Region restrictions are handled by the developer of the game, and Epic Games Player Support can’t remove these upon request

What Epic Account information does Epic share with other services?

Other services can request the following information associated with your account:

  • Your display name
    To learn how to review and update your display name, see How do I change my display name?
  • Your linked accounts
    You can review the accounts you have linked on the account management portal.
  • Your online status, which reflects whether you’re offline or online, and also gives the game you’re currently playing with your Epic Account
  • List of your Epic friends who have also authorized this game to see them

You will be asked for explicit consent about each of these pieces of information before a product or service can receive access to them.
