Securing your Activision account is very important to us. If you need help recovering your Activision account at s.activision.com/activision/, please fill out the form below so we can get you back to playing with your original progress, stats, and purchased and earned content as quickly as possible.
Follow the steps below to submit an account recovery request. Requests can take up to 24 hours to process. We’ll notify you via email when your request is complete.

A new Activision account with a new Activision ID –
This is meant to be a temporary account. If your request is valid, this new account will be disabled and will no longer be accessible. If you play a crossplay-enabled game on the new Activision account during the recovery process, game progress and in-game purchases made on the new account will not carry over to the recovered account
Your platform account(s) linked to the new account
If you already have a new account with platform accounts linked, proceed to Step 2.
Step 1: Create a new Activision account and link platform accounts
Be sure to create this new account using an email address you can access. Please also review our tips for creating strong passwords and keeping your account secure.

Once you’ve created a new account, follow these steps to link a platform account:
- Sign in to the PlayStation, Xbox Live, Steam, Battle.net, or Nintendo account you wish to link
- In the same browser, sign in to your newly-created Activision account
- In the ACCOUNT LINKING section, choose an account to link
- Select CONTINUE. You will be taken back to the PlayStation, Xbox Live, Steam, Battle.net, or Nintendo website to complete the account linking process.
Repeat these steps for all platform accounts.
After linking accounts, return to this form and proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Log in to your new Activision account to continue.
Please log in to your new Activision account to confirm the account is valid and your platform accounts are linked.
Registering for an Account
Activision accounts offer exclusive rewards and give you access to the latest intel to enhance your gameplay. If you do not have an Activision account, you can create a free one.
Activision accounts also enable cross-progression on all accounts you have linked to your Activision account. Because game progression in crossplay-enabled games is stored on your Activision account, you can play on any platform you have linked to your account, and your progression carries over.
You can register for an account using an existing gaming account with PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or Blizzard. When registering with a gaming account, you will be taken to the gaming network’s website to verify your login information.
If you don’t have a gaming account, you can choose Mobile.
Linking Platform Accounts
PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Blizzard, and Nintendo accounts can be linked to an Activision account.
Follow these steps to link a platform account:
- Sign in to the PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Blizzard, or Nintendo account you wish to link
- In the same browser, sign in to your Activision account
- In the ACCOUNT LINKING section, choose an account to link.
- Please note: Activision accounts may only have one account linked per manufacturer
- Select CONTINUE. You will be taken back to the PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Blizzard, or Nintendo website to complete the account linking process.
Please note: Game progress in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Warzone is stored on your Activision account, not your platform account. If you choose to link your platform account to another Activision account, your progress will not carry over. Your progress and content aren’t lost. If you relink this platform account to the original Activision account, you can continue your progression and access your owned content.
