Dates
On April 15, 2024, the registration period for the RPF Recruitment 2024 for Sub-Inspector and Constable will commence. The application deadline for candidates is May 14, 2024.
Vacancies and pay scale
The organization will cover a cumulative of 4,660 vacant seats through this recruitment initiative. Among these, 453 are for the position of SI, while 4,208 are for the position of constable. Selected candidates will receive the following salaries:
- Sub-Inspector – Rs 35,400
- Constable – Rs 21,700
Qualification
Sub-Inspector Posts: Candidates must have a graduate degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
Constable Posts: Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or equivalent examination from a board recognized by the Government of India.
Age Limit
Sub-Inspector Posts: 20 to 28 years.
Constable Posts: 18 to 28 years.
Fees
Candidates from the SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, Women, Minority, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) are required to submit an application fee of Rs 250. The fee will be refunded once any bank charges associated with participation in CBT have been deducted. In the case of the remaining candidates, a refund of Rs 400 will be issued from the total fee of Rs 500, subject to the deduction of bank charges that are applicable during the CBT session.
