Adding a device to your Microsoft account helps you see its warranty status, get support or request service. You can also find or lock it if it’s lost.
Register a device to see its warranty
To see the warranty coverage for your Surface, Surface accessory, Xbox, or Xbox accessory, you’ll need to register its serial number. Some online features won’t be available when you add your device this way.

Enter the code and select Next.
