To activate your new UHC Ucard, Go to activate.uhc.com. Follow the prompts to activate your card. You’ll likely need your member ID number.

Here’s how you can activate it:

  • Online:

    • Go to activate.uhc.com
    • Follow the prompts to activate your card. You’ll likely need your member ID number.
  • Phone:

    • Call the UHC member services number. It should be printed on your insurance card or any materials you received from UHC.
    • Follow the automated prompts to activate your card.
  • Mobile App:

    • Download the UnitedHealthcare app for iOS or Android.
    • Log in or create an account.
    • You should be able to activate your card within the app.

Important Note: Activating your UHC card might not be necessary to use your insurance benefits. However, activating it online or through the app usually allows you to access your account, view your benefits, and manage your health plan.

UCard Hub

Members can view and manage their benefits and rewards online in the UCard Hub section of the UnitedHealthcare plan website and mobile app to do things like: 

  • Check benefit balances and available rewards
  • Find participating stores
  • Shop online or view a list of covered OTC products and healthy food
  • Pay utility bills
  • Get answers to common questions and more.

How to: Enroll in Medicare Part A and Part B

Some people are automatically enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B. Some people are not.

You’ll be automatically enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B if:

  • You’re receiving Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board benefits when you turn 65; or
  • You’re eligible for Medicare because of a disability or medical condition.

You must enroll yourself in Medicare Part A and B if:

  • You’re not receiving Social Security benefits when you become eligible for Medicare.
