About Application
This ANDROID based mobile App has been developed exclusively for serving soldiers of Indian Army by the technical team of Army jawans (Adjutant Generals Branch (MP-8)) for communication of their service and pay related information to them on their mobile phones. This app cannot be used for civilians.
The new version uploaded on 09 Jan 2019 caters for major enhancement, like, online grievances management, change of AFPP fund subscription, Individual specific pop up messages, information dissemination and fixation of certain bugs noticed earlier

What’s the Hamraaz App?
The Hamraaz app was developed by the Army and started in August 2017. It helps to inform Jawans about their posts and promotions. The app allows an Indian soldier to view and download their monthly paychecks, Form 16. The communication differences between the soldiers have also been reduced. It also enables prompt information to be communicated to new officers and other staff.
The developers of the Indian Army linked the function of the App after verification of Aadhaar’s details in order to keep all information and use of the Hamraaz app safe. The same Aadhaar information is confirmed by the Army database through the National Info Center cloud, and military staff are provided with an OTP in their registered mobile number.
This means that a soldier must have his/her Aadhaar numbers on the latest mobile numbers to provide Hamraaz service to the Indian Army app.

How is the Hamraaz app downloaded?
Go to https://apps.mgov.gov.in/ which is the Ministry of Electronics and IT official site. The latest version of the app is 6.51 on the website.
You can also download the apk file on your Android smartphone, tap “Download.” The Android 5.0 Lollipop & higher minimum requirement for the app.
Upon downloading the apk file, tap on it to the downloads.
To start installing on your smartphone device tap “Install” for the app now.
At the moment the Hamraaz app for windows/PC is not available. It is worked on by the team of Hamraaz. But you can log in or create your account with the Hamraaz portal, i.e. https://hamraazmp8.gov.in, that helps you to easily access information. This is the only way to do so.
