Star India Private Limited (“SIPL”/ “Company”) and/or the Production House hosted SUPER SINGER Season 3 Auditions.
Eligibility
Participants’ Eligibility Criteria
(a) Participants who are 15 (fifteen) years of age or older as of July 1, 2021, i.e. 15 (fifteen) years of age or older as of July 1, 2021.
(b) Participants who are Indian citizens and residents of India in accordance with applicable laws; and (c) At least one parent of a Minor Participant must also be an Indian citizen and resident of India in accordance with applicable laws.
Employees of the Company, the Production House, the advertising agency, or any other agency or third-party vendor selected from time to time, as well as employees of the primary sponsors and members of their immediate families, are not eligible to participate in the Auditions.
Period of Digital Audition(s)
The period beginning June 6, 2021 and ending June 19, 2021, or such other date defined and/or amended by the Company and/or Production House at its sole discretion on the website, shall be referred to as the Digital Audition(s) Period.
What is the procedure for registering?
(a) To register for the Digital Auditions and to participate in them, the Contestant(s) / Parents on behalf of the interested minor Contestant(s) must:
i. must, at his or her own discretion, logon to the Website / Platform to register for the Auditions by providing / giving his or her valid Indian Mobile Number OR a valid email id.
ii. Upon entering the Website, a registration form will appear, which must be completed by the Participant(s) / Parent on behalf of the Minor Participant(s), who must fill in all relevant and necessary details as stated and enumerated therein, as well as upon submitting Video (as described below) on Website, in accordance with the requirements and criteria.
iii. It should be noted that the Participant / Parent on behalf of the Minor Participant(s) participating in the Digital Auditions may only register on the Platform once, using their own or the Parent’s (in the case of Minor Participant(s)) mobile phone number and/or email ID.
Video Uploading Capabilities
i. Once the Participant / Parent on behalf of the Minor Participant(s) shares the Personal Information required, he/she shall record one (1) video of the Participant(s) performing any song of his/her choice, which may primarily be in tamil; such video shall have a minimum duration of 60 (sixty) seconds and a maximum duration of 180 (one hundred and eighty) seconds in mov or.mp4 format and a minimum duration of 60 (six
ii. The Participant / Parent on behalf of the Minor Participant must submit the Video(s) to the website / platform by following the instructions and agreeing to the terms set forth on the Platform, then clicking the “Submit” button. The Participant / Parent (in the case of a minor participant) will get an SMS and/or email message from the Company and/or Production House, at its discretion, confirming and acknowledging the registration after the Video has been submitted to the Platform.
iii. If the Company discovers that the mobile number / email ID shared by the Participant(s) / Parent on behalf of the Minor Participant, and/or any Personal Information and/or any information in the Personal Consent Form is false, unauthenticated, or fabricated at any time, the Company and/or Production House shall have the right to disqualify such Participant immediately.
iv. By uploading and/or submitting his/her Video on the Platform for the purposes of this Audition, the Participant / Parent on behalf of the Minor Participant agrees and undertakes to be unconditionally bound by the Terms and Conditions.
Levels of Audition
“Digital Auditions” refers to the different levels of the selection process of the Auditions as detailed hereunder, as well as any additional levels as may be incorporated therein by the Company in the process of the Auditions at any time at its discretion, to be conducted inter alia in the manner as set out hereunder, which the Participant(s) is required to complete.
“On Ground Audition(s)” shall, if applicable, mean different levels of the selection process of Auditions as detailed herein, as well as any additional levels as may be incorporated therein by the Company in the selection process of the Auditions at any time at its discretion, to be conducted inter alia at the Audition Center(s) where the Participant(s) I
Auditions on the Ground Registration
The Participants / Parent on behalf of the Minor Participant(s) must complete the following steps to register and participate in the On-Ground Auditions:
Step 1: complete and sign a registration form or any other document(s) at the Audition Centre, and submit all personal information, including but not limited to documentation as required by the Company and/or Production House, on the registration form (“Personal Information”) in the manner and form requested and/or prescribed therein (“Registration”).
Step 2 : note down the unique registration code assigned to him/her at the Audition Centre (“Registration Number”) for any references.
Step 3 : If selected for Levels 2&3 of the Auditions, the Contestant / Parent on behalf of the Minor Contestant(s) will be required to fill out and sign the declaration, indemnity, and/or any other document required to be submitted on the registration form in the manner and form requested and/or prescribed therein at the Audition Centre(s).
