If a student does not show up for any workshops, he or she is generally considered to have failed the course. Candidates who were unable to attend the workshop, on the other hand, may still appear in the final examination and make up for the workshop component that they missed in following semesters.

Schedule for the AIOU’s Online Workshops

Candidates will have three opportunities to complete the workshop component in total, however they will be required to deposit the workshop fee at the beginning of the semester in which the workshop is offered in order to participate (in case they avail themselves another chance).

The Allama Iqbal Open University does not bear any of the costs associated with onboarding, accommodation, or TA/DA expenses incurred prior to the start of workshops. The AIOU provides a hostel facility for the course/thesis workshop that is hosted on the main campus in Islamabad at a minimal cost.
