How To Turn on Subtitles on Disney Plus: How to enable/disable Subtitles on Disney Plus?

We wish to highlight that we already have subtitles for most of our content. However, if you find a show/movie with no subtitles option, it means we do not have the subtitling rights for that content.

For content on which subtitles are available, they can be enabled on the Web and Phone App from the Settings (Gear Icon) on the Video Player.

To enable this on Smart TV: Use the up arrow on the TV remote and you should see the CC/Subtitles option. (This option is available on LG TV with WebOS of 4 and above and Samsung TV with Tizen versions after 2018 and onward).

To enable it on Apple TV:  Go to the settings > General > Accessibility > Closed Captions + SDH and turn it ON
