How To Delete Cash App Account: Deleting Your Personal Information from Cash App

Cash App extends the option to access and delete personal information to all customers. Sign into your account at Cash.app/account from a web browser. Select Delete Your Personal Information.

Cash App complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and provides all customers with certain options to control their personal data.

California customers have certain rights over their personal information (subject to exceptions the law provides), such as:

• The right to access their personal information;
• The right to delete their personal information;
• The right to opt-out of the “sale” of their personal information (Cash App does not sell our customers’ personal information)

Cash App extends the option to access and delete personal information to all customers.

To access and download a copy of your personal information:

1. Sign into your account at Cash.app/account from a web browser
2. Click Settings
3. Click Download Your Info under Your Info
4. Click Activity to view your complete payment history
5. Click Statements
6. Click Export to download your transaction history

If you would like to permanently delete your account and personal information from Cash App:

1. Tap the profile icon on your Cash App home screen
2. Select Support
3. Select Something Else
4. Navigate to Account Settings
5. Select Delete Your Personal Information
6. Tap Contact Support

Canceling a Payment

Cash App to Cash App payments are instant and usually can’t be canceled. To be sure, check your activity feed to see if the payment receipt is displaying a cancel option.

The recipient can also refund your payment. Ask them to:

1. Tap the Activity tab on their Cash App home screen
2. Select the payment in question
3. Tap . . .
4. Select Refund
5. Press OK

Finally, you can use the Request button on your Cash App home screen to ask for the funds back.
