Additional Actions
Unblock a Contact:
Swipe left on the contact/number you want to unblock and tap Unblock.
Add a New Block:
Tap Add New to block additional numbers or contacts.
Managing Spam Calls:
Consider enabling Silence Unknown Callers under Settings > Phone to automatically silence calls from unknown numbers.
From this screen, you can also:
- Unblock a number: Tap Edit in the top right corner, then tap the red minus icon next to the number you want to unblock, and finally tap Unblock.
- Add a new number to the blocked list: Tap Add New… at the bottom and select a contact from your contacts list to block. If the number isn’t in your contacts, you’ll need to add it as a contact first.
You can also find blocked numbers in FaceTime and Messages settings:
- FaceTime: Go to Settings > FaceTime > Blocked Contacts.
- Messages: Go to Settings > Messages > Blocked Contacts.
The blocked list is consistent across Phone, FaceTime, and Messages. Blocking a number in one app will block it in the others as well.
