How To Activate Voice Chat in Roblox : How do I enable Roblox Spatial Voice ?
To activate Voice Chat in Roblox, go to Account Settings -> Privacy -> Enable Voice Chat. If the toggle turns green, then the voice chat is active.
To enable the Spatial Voice feature, follow the instructions below:
- Go to Account Settings.
- Complete Age Verification.
- Select the Privacy Tab.
- Toggle the Spatial Voice selector to ON.
- The toggle will turn from grey to green, indicating that voice chat has been enabled for your account.
Spatial Voice Beta is a new feature that allows people to communicate in Roblox as naturally as they communicate in the physical world.
Today, developers have the choice to integrate this technology in their experiences.
Users who can prove they are 13 or older can enable this feature in Settings. After that, you can use Spatial Voice Chat in any compatible Roblox game.

How can I tell who has Spatial Voice ?
Eligible, age-verified, age 13+ users will see a microphone icon next to the user name and above the avatar of other users that have voice chat enabled. Users will not otherwise be able to see who does or does not have Spatial Voice.
How to Mute, Block, or Report Abuse for Spatial Voice
Muting another user’s voice chat
You can mute another user in a Spatial Voice experience by clicking the microphone icon that will appear over their avatar’s head. Mutes only apply to voice chat and not text chat and will only last while you are in that experience session.
Blocking another user
You can block another user in a Spatial Voice experience to prevent them from engaging with you in voice chat or text chat
Report Abuse
If someone is violating the Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, use the Report Abuse feature to file a report with Roblox moderation team
How can I turn off Spatial Voice ?
To disable the Spatial Voice feature, follow the instructions below:-
- Go to Account Settings
- Select the Privacy Tab
- Toggle the Spatial Voice selector to OFF
- The toggle will turn from green to grey, indicating that voice chat has been disabled for your account
- While you are in the Spatial Voice you can toggle it back on at any time to re-enable voice chat
