How To Activate SBI Debit Card for Domestic ECOM Transaction
To activate your SBI card for domestic ECOM Transaction, using YONO / YONOLITE/ Internet Banking / ATM, Call to 18001234/18002100 or by visiting a branch.
After enrolling for ECOM through SBI Quick for Debit card, customer will receive a confirmation message “ Dear Customer, your request for Switching on ECOM service for Card no :XXXXXXXX is processed successfully” instantly and the service will be activated immediately.
It is possible that the feature has been disabled on your SBI debit card if you have not made any online purchases with it for an extended period of time. The YONO SBI app and SMS banking make it easy to activate your SBI debit card for online purchases.
Using YONO SBI, you can activate your SBI ATM card to make online purchases in the same way as described above. Toggle the option to allow online purchases at Step 6, then continue with the standard procedure.
You can also make advantage of the SMS banking feature to enable the same. To accomplish this, simply text the following to 09223966666: “swon ecom nnnn” (where nnnn is the final four numbers of your card, for example, 0647). Also, onlinesbi.com is an option. Click on “e-services,” then “ATM card services,” then “ATM card limit,” and finally, modify your usage.
Customer spending a minimum of Rs 2000 and above on PoS/ e-com platform using SBI Debit Card will be eligible for cashback. Rs 200/- cashback will be given to top 25,000 customers (spenders) during the campaign period.

How do I activate my existing SBI ATM card for online transactions?
1) Log in to your SBI internet banking portal.
2) Go to e-Services > ATM Card Services
3) Click on ATM Card Limit/Channel/Usage Change
4) Select your account and continue.
5) Now, select the card you want to activate the online transactions on.
6) Once selected, go to Select Services (at the bottom of the page) and choose ‘Change Usage Type’ and then, click submit.
7) Now, you’ll see only one option in the screen named ‘Select Usage Type’. Just click on that and 2 options will pop up
- Domestic Usage
- International Usage
Choose according to your need and then click on submit. An OTP will come to your registered mobile number that you’ve to enter and that’s all.
