How to Activate or Sign into Flash on your TV : Activate Flash TV via auth.streamotion.com.au/activate

Get your Flash on the big screen. Using Chromecast, you can cast Flash straight from your smartphone, tablet, or computer to your TV.

Note: Chromecast 1st Generation, Chromecast 2nd Generation, Chromecast with Google TV and in-built Chromecasts are not supported by Flash

Download the app or use a Chrome Browser

Download the Flash app  from the App Store or Google Play Store to cast from your smartphone or tablet. Otherwise, download the latest version of Chrome and cast straight from your browser on your computer.

How to activate or sign into Flash on your TV

To sign in to Flash on your compatible TV you will first need to activate your device.

To activate your TV, use a second device to visit https://auth.streamotion.com.au/activate

Alternatively, if QR code activation is available simply use your smartphone to scan and follow the prompts to activate.

 1. Activate TV via auth.streamotion.com.au/activate

Need to activate your TV device? Simply watch the video or  follow these steps below:

  1. On your compatible TV, open the Flash app and select ‘Sign In’, you will now see a code on your TV screen like below:

  2. Using a second device (eg. smartphone or computer) visit  https://auth.streamotion.com.au/activate and enter the code displayed on your TV screen

    Note: Code expired? On your TV, select ‘Try again’ to generate a new code

  3. Once you have confirmed your 8 digit code, you may be asked to enter your login credentials

     

  4. Once you have entered your credentials, your TV will automatically sign in, select your profile and start streaming!

2. Activate TV via QR code

Some Flash devices allow you to activate using a QR code. If your device allows QR code activation, simply watch the video or follow the steps below and you’ll be streaming in no time:

  1. Open the Flash app on your TV device and select ‘Sign in’, if a QR code is available for this device, it will appear in the centre of the screen like below:

  2. Using the camera on your smartphone or tablet, scan the QR code on your TV then tap the pop-up notification that appears to be taken to https://auth.streamotion.com.au/activate

     

  3. The 8 digit code displayed on your TV will be pre-populated on your smartphone/tablet, select ‘Confirm’
    Note: Code expired? On your TV, select ‘Try Again’ to generate a new code.

     

  4. Once you have confirmed your 8 digit code, you may be asked to enter your login credentials

     

  5. Once you have entered your credentials, your TV will automatically sign in, select your profile and start streaming!

Can I stream Flash on my SMART TV?

Flash is currently only available on selected SMART TV’s. This is why you may not find an app available to download, and why streaming may be unavailable via a web browser on your SMART TV.

We’re always looking to develop apps for more devices, and that includes apps for SMART TVs. If your SMART TV isn’t compatible with Flash right now, an app for your TV is most likely on our roadmap to be developed.

How do I stream on my TV?

In the meantime, there are other ways you can get streaming on your big screen, such as Apple TV and Chromecast.
