You don’t actually “activate” Flybuys Card in the same way you activate a bank card. Instead, you need to register your Flybuys account online to link it to the temporary card.
Here’s how:
1. Go to the Flybuys website or app: You can do this on your computer or smartphone.
2. Select “Join Flybuys”: Even though you have a temporary card, you still need to complete the registration process.
3. Enter your details: This includes your name, email address, and a password you’ll use to log in to your Flybuys account.
4. Enter your temporary card information: You’ll be asked for the membership and registration numbers found on your temporary card. This is how the points you earn with the temporary card get added to your account
5. Complete the registration: Follow the remaining steps, including verifying your email address and providing your postal address if you’d like a physical card.
Once you’ve completed these steps, your Flybuys account is active and linked to your temporary card! You can then start collecting points and enjoying the benefits of being a Flybuys member

Make sure you keep an eye on when offers expire, so you don’t miss out. Activating all the offers available is a good way to go. There’s no limit.
Step 4
From there, all you need to do is remember to scan your card when you shop (or enter your Flybuys number at the online checkout). Left your Flybuys card at home? Don’t stress, you can scan the card directly from the app or upload it to your Google or Apple wallet and scan from there.

Sit back and watch your points balance grow.

How do I register a temporary card?

- Enter your name and date of birth then select the I have a temporary card drop down. Enter the membership number and registration number from your temporary card. To get the points from your temporary card added to your registered account, you’ll need to add it at this step.
