How To Activate Afterpay Card in App : Log in or create an Afterpay account

How to make a purchase:

• Download the Afterpay app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Log in or create an Afterpay account
• Tap the ‘In-Store’ tab and follow the steps to set up the Afterpay Card & add it to your digital wallet
• At the register launch the Afterpay Card in your digital wallet. (For Apple users, you will be prompted to use either Face ID, Touch ID or device passcode to authenticate your Afterpay purchase)
• Hold your device on the card reader at the register
• Success! You’ll see a confirmation of your purchase in the app. Take your items home immediately and pay your purchase total over four payments.

How does Afterpay work?

Afterpay allows you to shop now and pay later, always interest-free. With Afterpay, your purchase will be split into 4 payments, payable every 2 weeks.

Simply shop with one of your favorite stores found in the Shop Directory and choose Afterpay as your payment method at checkout. First-time customers will need to create an Afterpay account (with instant approval decision) and returning customers will simply log in to make their purchase. For online orders, the goods will be shipped to you by the retailer after checkout. For in-store shopping, download the Afterpay mobile app, follow the in-app instructions to set up the Afterpay Card, and use the Afterpay Card with Apple Pay or Google Pay to make a contactless payment at checkout. You’ll pay 25% at the time of purchase, and take your purchase home that day. It’s that easy!

At any time, you can log in to your Afterpay account to see your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date. Otherwise we will automatically take the money from your debit or credit card on your payment due dates.

Where can I add an Afterpay promo code for my order?

• Great news! If you have a Afterpay Promo Code, it will be applied automatically to your next eligible order
• If the you would like to also use a merchant promo code, you should enter the merchant promo code at the checkout page on merchant’s website. The Afterpay Promo Code will be applied automatically when you are completing the checkout.

I have a merchant promo code, can I combine it with my Afterpay Promo Code?

The short answer is “Yes”.

If you want to use a merchant promo code, you should input the merchant promo code at the checkout page on merchant’s website. And the Afterpay Promo Code (if any has been assigned to your account) will be applied when completing the check out with Afterpay.
