HBOMAX TV Sign in Enter Code On Phone | Enter Activation Codes Login

To activate the HBOMAX TV channel on Phone, Sign in to you HBOMAX and you will get an 8 digit Activation Code on your phone. If you get HBO Max with your TV package, internet service, or wireless plan, see Sign in with a provider.

Which device are you using?

Phone or Tablet

Here’s how to sign in on your phone or tablet:-

  1. Open the HBO Max app and then tap the Profile icon (bottom edge on phones, left edge on tablets).
  2. Tap Sign in to your account.
    If you’re already signed in, tap the Settings icon (upper-left), then scroll down and choose Sign Out.
  3. Enter your account email and password and then choose Sign in.
  4. Choose your profile and you’re ready to stream.

PlayStation or Roku

Here’s how to sign in:

  1. Open HBO Max on your TV and choose the Profile icon in the upper-left corner.
  2. Choose Sign In.
  3. Roku: If you get a subscription found message, see the section below
  4. To open the keyboard, press the OK button on your Roku remote or the X button on your PlayStation controller
  5. Enter your account email and password and choose Sign In
  6. Choose your profile and you’re ready to stream

Computer

Here’s how to sign in at HBOMax.com:

  1. Go to HBOMax.com on your computer and choose Sign In (upper-right)
    If you’re already signed in, choose your profile (upper-right) and then choose Sign Out.
  2. Enter your account email and password and then choose Sign in.
  3. Choose your profile and you’re ready to stream.

Apple TV

Here’s how to sign in:

  1. Open HBO Max on your Apple TV and choose Sign In (or choose a show or movie, then choose Sign In).
  2. Choose Sign In.
  3. Enter your account email and password and then choose Sign In.
  4. Choose your profile and you’re ready to stream.

HBO Max

 

Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Cox device, LG Smart TV, Samsung TV, Spectrum WorldBox, VIZIO Smart TV, Xbox, XClass TV, or Xfinity device

Here’s how to sign in:

  1. Open HBO Max on your TV and choose Sign In (or choose a show or movie, then choose Sign In).
  2. Choose Sign In. Stay on the screen with the 6-character code while you grab your phone or computer.
  3. Open a browser on your phone or computer and in the address bar, type hbomax.com/tvsignin. You should see an Enter Code page (https://activate.hbomax.com).
  4. Enter the 6-character code that appears on your TV and then choose Next.
  5. Enter your account email and password and then choose Sign In.
  6. Once your TV updates (this may take a minute), you’re ready to stream.

Where do I enter the code?

In your browser’s address bar type: https://hbomax.com/tvsignin. This takes you to an Enter Code page where you can enter the 6-character code from your TV.

HBO Max Code doesn’t work or is invalid

Try the following:

  1. Make sure you’re on the correct page (activate.hbomax.com) when you enter the code from your TV.
  2. Try using a different browser: Chrome, FireFox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.
  3. Get a new code. To do this, go back and choose Sign In again on your TV.
  4. Try using a computer instead of your phone (go to activate.hbomax.com and enter the code from your TV).
  5. Clear your browser data. Here’s how:
    • iPhone: On your iOS device, go to Settings > Safari, then scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
    • Android phone: Try clearing your Chrome browsing data on your Android device.

Install the HBO Max app

Android TV

Open the Play Store on your Android TV and search for HBO Max. Then, select HBO Max and choose:

  • Subscribe & install: Starts a new HBO Max subscription and installs the HBO Max app.
  • Install: Just installs the HBO Max app. You can choose to subscribe at another time.

Apple TV

Launch the Apple TV’s App Store and look for “HBO Max.” The next step is to access HBO Max and select the download option. Launch HBO Max after installation and sign in or go to the “Choose a Plan” menu.

LG Smart TV

On your LG Smart TV, go to the LG Content Store search for HBO Max. Then, select the HBO Max app and choose Install. Once downloaded, open HBO Max and sign in.

If HBO Max is not in the LG Content Store, your LG Smart TV may not be supported. For a list of supported LG Smart TV models, go to HBO Max on LG Smart TV and choose Device Compatibility. Then, sign in with your LG User ID to see if your TV is compatible.

Roku

On your Roku streaming device, go to Streaming Channels > Search Channels and enter HBO Max. Then select HBO Max and choose Add Channel. Once downloaded, open HBO Max and sign in or select Choose a Plan.

Samsung TV (2016 models and later)

Open the Smart Hub, choose Apps, and search for HBO Max. Then, select and download HBO Max. Once downloaded, open HBO Max and sign in or start your subscription.

Not all Samsung TV models are supported. For a list of supported Samsung TV models, go to HBO Max on Samsung TV and choose Compatible devices in the upper-right corner.
