Hulu is a leading streaming service that offers some of the latest and greatest shows and movies that the entertainment industry has to offer. It’s kind of like cable, but better, because with Hulu you’ve got plenty of choice and control over your TV time.

Q: What are the plans, and how much do they cost?

A: We offer a few different plans for you to choose from, depending on your budget and streaming needs:

• Hulu: Our ad-supported plan costs just $6.99/month* (or $69.99/year) and gives you access to our ad-supported streaming library. We’ve got everything from hit movies and timeless TV classics, to brand new episodes from your current season favorites (typically available the day after airing) and so much more.
• Hulu (No Ads): Prefer to stream without interruption? For $12.99/month you can watch most of those same shows and movies without the ad breaks.
• Hulu + Live TV now with Disney+ and ESPN+**: Subscribe to Hulu + Live TV for $69.99/month so you can avoid the spoilers by watching your favorite primetime shows, breaking news, and sporting events in real-time. Hulu + Live TV subscribers can watch everything in our streaming library, plus access additional content on Disney+ and ESPN+.
• Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV now with Disney+ and ESPN+**: For $75.99/month** you can stream almost all videos from our streaming library without ads, and you can take advantage of everything our Live TV plan has to offer, including access to Disney+ and ESPN+. Just keep in mind that content outside of the Hulu streaming library may still have ads.

* Eligible students can sign up for our Hulu (ad-supported) plan for $1.99/month with the Hulu student discount.

**Access to Disney+ and ESPN+ through our Live TV plans is not available for subscribers who are billed by Sprint. ESPN+ content may be accessed via Hulu and ESPN+ (select content is only available via ESPN+ app and website). Disney+ content is only accessible via Disney+ app and website.

Q: That all sounds awesome, but what’s the catch?

A: There isn’t one! Unlike traditional cable services, Hulu won’t lock you in with a long-term commitment or surprise you with hidden fees and service charges. You’re free to change or cancel your subscription at any time.

Better yet, you won’t have to wait around for the maintenance guy to show up to install any fancy equipment. As long as you’ve got a supported device and a solid connection, you’re basically set!

Q: What if I don’t live in the U.S.?

A: We still love you, but unfortunately we’re not available abroad* at this time. Come visit soon!

*Hulu is available in U.S. territories and U.S. military bases, but Live TV is only available in the states. 

What’s included?

Our different plans and add-ons give you the freedom to customize your Hulu subscription as you see fit. No matter what you choose, there are some things that you can always expect to be included — like our expansive streaming library and select features.

Q: So what’s in the Hulu streaming library anyways?

A:  Too many shows and movies to name! Seriously, we’d probably crash your browser if we tried. Some things you can find on Hulu include:

• New episodes that aired on TV last night, and shows that will make you feel nostalgic
• Hit movies that just left the theaters, and even more classic films from the past
• Buzz-worthy Hulu Originals like The Handmaid’s Tale, Castle Rock, Marvel’s Runaways, The Act, Pen15, and Minding the Gap — just to name a few
• Plenty of cartoons for the kids, plus tons of adult animation for the “grown ups”
• Telenovelas, Spanish-dubbed shows and movies, and other fan-favorites en Español
• A wide variety of Anime that’s dubbed, subtitled, and sometimes even simulcasted

Q: But do you have that one specific show or movie that I love? You know the one…

A: We might! Check for your favorites here — if you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can always submit your request in the Hulu Community. Although we can’t make any promises, we’re always listening!

Q: The real question is whether I can download those shows and movies to watch offline. What’s the deal there?

A: If you subscribe to one of our ad-free plans you can!* There are tons of downloadable shows and movies available with an ad-free subscription — learn more.

Q: Ok, ok. What about live TV? Will I be able to watch any sports or news coverage?

A: Our library includes some content from the news and sports genres, but if you want to catch the breaking headlines and play-by-plays you’ll need to choose one of our Live TV plans. Live TV subscribers have access to on-demand videos and live channels.

Q: What about my local channels? I can’t get those on Hulu, can I? 

We work with regional sports networks and broadcast affiliates all over the country so you can get your local news, teams, and other programs right on Hulu— see the full list of channels available in your area.

Q: Do you have a channel guide for live TV?

A: We do! Our Live Guide shows you what’s airing now and later on every channel included with your subscription. You can scroll through the grid to see what’s coming up over the next two weeks, check for sports blackouts, and even set up Cloud DVR recordings.

Q: Awesome! So I’m able to record live TV for those times when I’m too busy to watch?

A: Absolutely! Watch TV on your own schedule with 50 hours of Cloud DVR space included with every Live TV subscription.

Q: How many people can be watching all this great stuff at the same time?

A: You can have two screens in use at once, regardless of which plan you choose. If you subscribe to one of our Live TV plans, there’s an add-on for families who need more.

Q: Can I keep track of my favorites separately from other people on the account?

A: You can! Create profiles for up to six of your family members, including the kids. Your personal profile will be tailored to you — with suggested content based on your interests, saved favorites, and watch history. We’ve also got features like My Stuff to help you keep track of the shows and movies you love most.

Q: My Stuff? Tell me more about that…

A: My Stuff is your own little corner of Hulu. Add your favorites to get to the TV you love, faster. The My Stuff hub features your saved shows and movies, with badges to track your watch progress, alert you of new episodes, and more.

Q: Very cool! What other kind of features does Hulu have?

A: Love to binge? The Autoplay feature keeps your episodes playing without you even touching the remote. Or, you can take it from your phone to the big screen with various cast and screen share options. You can also enable closed captions and customize them during playback so you never miss a beat.

Q: Can I watch my shows and movies in 4K?

A: Our library of 4K supported content continues to grow, but it’s currently limited to select programming. While HD videos can be watched on most devices, 4K quality is only supported on select ones at this time
