GCE O L Results Release Date

The results for the 2024 (2025) GCE O/L (Ordinary Level) examination in Sri Lanka are expected to be released on July 8, 2025. The results will be published on the Department of Examinations website, doenets.lk. 

How to Check GCE Ordinary Level Results

Here’s how you can check your Sri Lanka G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) results:

🧭 1. Official Online Portals

Visit either of the Department of Examinations websites:

• www.doenets.lk

• www.results.exams.gov.lk

Steps:

1. Select your exam (e.g., “G.C.E. (O/L) Examination – 2024”)

2. Enter your index number (and additional number if prompted)

3. Complete any “I am human” or captcha challenge

4. Click View Results — your grades will be displayed and available for printing

You can receive your results via SMS:

• All networks:
  Type exam <exam code> <index number> and send to 1919

• Operator-specific formats:

  • Mobitel: EXAMS <index no> → send to 8884

  • Dialog: EXAMS <index no> → send to 7777

  • Airtel: send to 7545

  • Hutch: send to 8888
