The website fuelpass.gov.lk was the official portal for the National Fuel Pass (QR system) in Sri Lanka, introduced to manage fuel distribution during the energy crisis.
As of September 1, 2023, the Ministry of Power and Energy suspended the National Fuel Pass system across the country because the fuel supply had stabilized.
Current Status of the Website:
Inactive: The portal is generally no longer active for registration or fuel quotas.
No QR Required: You do not need to present a QR code at filling stations in Sri Lanka to purchase petrol or diesel.
Payment: Fuel is now sold at the market price (or subsidized government price) without the weekly quota restrictions that were previously tracked via this site.
