To activate ABC Network, On your computer or mobile device, go to ABC.com/Activate. In the field labeled ‘Enter your activation code,’ enter the 7-character activation code displayed on your TV screen and select the Continue button.
To start watching ABC content on your supported device, you’ll need to download the ABC app to begin the activation process. You may also stream ABC content on your computer with a supported browser on ABC.com.

1. Launch the ABC app and select Account
2. Select the Sign In to TV Provider button

5. If you are activating ABC on a supported Apple TV, Roku, or smart TV, you will receive additional instructions to verify your TV provider account using a computer or mobile device. If your sign-in is successful, full-episode playback or live stream of your favorite ABC shows will be available.

How do I sign in to my TV provider on my Apple TV, Roku, or smart TV?
To verify your TV provider account on your Apple TV, Roku, or smart TV:
1. Follow the steps in the section above to sign in to your ABC account and navigate to your TV provider page from your TV-connected device
2. On your computer or mobile device, go to ABC.com/Activate
3. In the field labeled ‘Enter your activation code,’ enter the 7-character activation code displayed on your TV screen and select the Continue button
4. Select your TV provider and sign in using the credentials associated with your TV provider account.
If your sign-in is successful, full-episode playback or live stream of your favorite ABC shows will be available.
Having trouble with the activation code?
If the activation code doesn’t work, the code has likely expired. To receive a new activation code, select the Refresh code button displayed on your TV’s activation screen.
If the code does not refresh, exit the activation screen using the Back button on your remote, select Settings > Verify Your TV Provider. Once you have the new code, follow the steps above to activate.
What is the activation code and where can I find it?
When you create a new ABC Account (account activation) or sign in to a current TV provider to access content on the ABC app or ABC.com (device activation), you may be prompted to enter a 6- or 7-character activation code sent to the email address associated with your ABC Account.
Note: If you do not receive a one-time passcode email, be sure to check your spam folder.
I need a 6-character Account Activation code
During the ABC Account signup process, you will need to retrieve a one-time 6-character passcode from a current email address. Once you have your 6-character Account Activation code, return to ABC.com/account and enter the provided code to create your new ABC Account.
Similarly, if you are looking to update the email address associated with your ABC Account, you will need to retrieve a one-time 6-character passcode from the email address you have on file to complete the process.
I need a 7-character Device Activation code
To access ABC content — including the live stream, locked episodes, and additional on-demand programming — you must first sign in to a participating TV provider account on your supported device.
To sign in to a participating TV provider, you may need to activate your device with a one-time 7-character passcode sent to the email address associated with your TV provider account (which may be different from the email address associated with your ABC Account).
Once you have your 7-character Device Activation code, return to ABC.com/activate on a computer, enter the provided code, and follow the rest of the sign-in instructions.
