findsomeone.co.nz Login : How do I log in FindSomeone?
To log in, you’ll need to enter your Findsomeone username or email, and password at findsomeone.co.nz/account/login. If you don’t know your password, select ‘Forgot? and we’ll help you choose a new one.
When you create your membership, it needs to be enabled by following the instructions in the email we send you. If you’ve recently changed your email, you’ll need to confirm this the same way.
My Profile
Your Profile can include as much or as little information to display to potential partners as you like. You can include your ideal partner, career, hobbies, appearance, personal beliefs and more.
Editing your profile
- Open the drop-down menu in the top-right and select ‘Edit my profile’.
- Select ‘Edit’ next to the field you want to change.
- Remember to ‘Save’ your changes.
To update your gender – get in touch.
To update your age – get in touch with your correct date of birth.
Search
To search for someone, select ‘ Search ‘ from the left-hand navigation, then select your criteria.
Advanced search
To further narrow your search, select ‘Show advanced search options’. You can further filter by lifestyle, background, appearance and keywords.
Nickname search
You can also search by nickname, by selecting the ‘Nickname search‘ tab.

Messages
Messaging someone you’re interested in is a great way to connect.
Your email address isn’t shared with the sender or receiver.
Sending the first message
Basic members
To send the first message, upgrade to a Gold membership or purchase a message pack. Alternatively, you can send a smile.
Gold members
Members with a Gold subscription can send the first message to any member.
Replying to a message
All membership types can reply to a message received. The conversation can continue, so long as at least one member is Gold.
Viewing messages
To view your messages, select ‘Inbox‘ (✉) from the left-hand navigation. To view sent messages, select the ‘Sent’ tab. To view messages deleted in the past two weeks, select the ‘Deleted’. Deleted messages are archived after two weeks.
Inappropriate messages
To choose whether to filter potentially offensive messages, visit your ‘Privacy settings‘ and select your preference under ‘Filter offensive messages’. This isn’t all-encompassing, so some bad words might go undetected. If you receive an inappropriate or offensive message, report it using Community Watch at the bottom of the message page.
