FBISD 1 Link Sign Up and Registration Guide

FBISD 1 is powered by Microsoft My Apps / ClassLink, allowing students, teachers, and staff to use one set of credentials to access various digital tools (Schoology, Clever, Teams, etc.).

What Is FBISD 1Link?

  • 1Link is FBISD’s single sign-on (SSO) platform.

  • It’s powered by Microsoft My Apps / ClassLink, allowing students, teachers, and staff to use one set of credentials to access various digital tools (Schoology, Clever, Teams, etc.).

  • You can access 1Link from a computer or mobile device.

  • 1Link is designed to be safe and doesn’t collect or share personal student data.

How to Sign Up / Register for 1Link

For Students

  1. Get Your Login Credentials

    • Students use their district email, which is typically: firstname.lastname@fortbendisd.com.

    • Use your network password (the same one you use for school computers).

    • If you’re a new student, you’ll be given access after enrollment is complete.

  2. Login to 1Link on Desktop

    • Open Google Chrome (recommended) and go to Microsoft My Apps.

    • Enter your district email and password.

    • If prompted, install the Microsoft My Apps browser extension (only works on Chrome or Edge).

  3. Login on Mobile

    • Download the 1Link app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

    • In the app, search for Fort Bend ISD (or “FBISD”) as your school / district.

    • Sign in using your district email + password.

  4. Use Your 1Link Dashboard

    • Once logged in, you’ll see a dashboard with apps/resources relevant to you (based on your grade level or role).

    • You can launch tools like Schoology, Teams, Clever, etc. from the dashboard.

For Parents / Guardians

  • Parents do not get a separate 1Link login — instead, they log in using their child’s credentials to access the portal.

  • To find the student’s username and password, parents should go to Skyward Family Access:

    1. Log into Skyward Family Access.

    2. Go to the Online Forms section.

    3. There, you can find/retrieve the student’s login credentials for 1Link.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for best compatibility; the 1Link browser extension works only on these browsers.

  • If you’re having trouble logging in, double-check:

  • For new students, wait until the enrollment process is fully completed before attempting to use 1Link — access is granted after enrollment.

  • If you run into technical issues, you can visit the 1Link Support Page on the FBISD website.
