ESPN Com Activate TV Code

To activate ESPN on your TV, login into www.espn.com/activate and type in the TV code in the field, which will be present at the center of the screen. You will move to a page where you can see the “ESPN+ Subscriptions” option. Click on it.

To activate ESPN on your TV, follow these steps:

  1. Launch the ESPN app on your TV-connected device.
  2. Go to the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select “Subscriptions,” then choose “ESPN+” on the right.
  4. Click the “Login” button at the bottom.
  5. Visit espn.com/activate on a computer or mobile device.
  6. Enter the code displayed on your TV screen and select “Continue.”
  7. Finally, enter the email address and password used to subscribe to ESPN+ and click “Log in”

ESPN+ is only available in the United States and its territories. If you’re unable to access certain content, it’s possible that it may not be available in your location based on our blackout policy.

How do I watch ESPN+?

Ready to stream your favorite sports and shows? Before you do so, you’ll need to make sure you have a supported device and a valid method of payment.

You can start streaming on ESPN+ once you sign up through the ESPN app or the ESPN+ website. If you’ve already signed up for ESPN+ and are looking to stream content through multiple devices, you must first log in to your ESPN+ account through the ESPN app on each device.

Signing in to my TV provider

If you have a participating TV provider, you may sign into the ESPN app with your provider account information to access ESPN network content – which is not included with an ESPN+ subscription. Keep in mind that some TV providers may require you to re-verify your account after a predetermined time period.

Web browser

  1. In your web browser, go to ESPN.com
  2. Click on the Account icon in the top right corner of your screen
  3. Select TV Provider 
  4. Select your participating TV provider
  5. Enter your TV provider login credentials.
  6. Click Log In.

Mobile device

  1. Download the ESPN app from your device’s app store
  2. Open the ESPN app
  3. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner of your screen
  4. Select TV Provider
  5. Select your participating TV provider
  6. Enter your TV provider login credentials
  7. Tap Log In

TV-Connected device

  1. Download the ESPN app from your device’s app store
  2. Open the ESPN app
  3. Select the Settings icon in the top right corner of your screen
  4. Select Account Information > Provider Account or TV Provider (depending on the device)
  • If your device directs you to navigate to a URL on your computer or mobile browser, please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process
  • Select your participating TV provider
  • Enter your TV provider login credentials
  • Select Log In

How to Activate ESPN+ on Your Device?

1) After the ESPN installation is done, run the app and log in to your account.

2) Click on Settings.

3) Click on “ESPN+ Subscriptions.”

4) You will be directed to the home page of ESPN+.

5) You will then be asked to choose your plan. Select either the “monthly” subscription or the “annual” subscription based on your preference.

6) Read all the terms and conditions carefully.

7) Click on “Agree & Subscribe.” You may also choose to restore your subscriptions if you wish to reset your ESPN+ subscription.

8) On the next page, proceed to choose “Set Up Account” to conclude the activation procedure. If you’ve followed the steps correctly up to this point, you should be able to use your subscription on this device and any others you’ve synced it with.

Activating the ESPN App on Vizio TV

Please note: The ESPN app on Vizio is only available on Vizo Models from 2016 and newer.

1.  Open the ESPN app on your Vizio TV. You will be prompted to visit espn.com/activate on a computer or mobile device. Make a note of the Activation Code, as it is required in the next step.

2.  Once you have accessed espn.com/activate, enter the Activation Code.

3.  If you do not have an ESPN.com account, you will be prompted to create one.  If you do have an ESPN.com account, go to Step 4.

4.  If you already have an active ESPN.com account, log in with the email and password associated with your account.

5. You will be directed to ESPN Main Page. The first time you click on any content tile, you will be prompted to link your account with your TV Provider.

6. You will be prompted to visit espn.com/activate on a computer or mobile device. Note the Activation Code, as it is required in the next step.

7. To view ESPN+ content, access the ESPN+ tab by clicking on the ESPN+ banner, any ESPN+ content thumbnail, or via the Settings tab.

If you do not currently subscribe to ESPN+, you will be prompted to go to espn.com/subscribe, where you may select a subscription plan that suits you. Note the Activation Code, as it is required in the next step.

8. Once you have entered the Activation Code, you will be prompted to log in again to continue the subscription process.

9. You will now be able to select a plan, enter your payment information, and review the Terms and Conditions.  Once you are ready, click on “Agree & Subscribe.”

NOTE: If any information is entered incorrectly, an error message will appear.

10.  Once the transaction is successful, go back to the ESPN app on your Vizio device and select “Continue” to verify your subscription is active.

11. If everything is successful, you will receive a subscription/purchase success screen or go directly into playback if content was selected
