Error Code U13 Google Pay | Top Solutions

The Error Code U13 in Google Pay (or GPay) generally means the app is unable to connect to your bank’s servers (or establish a secure connection), so it can’t verify your account or complete the transaction.

Here are steps you can try to fix it:

🛠️ Troubleshooting Steps for Error U13

  1. Check Internet Connection

    • Ensure you have a stable network (Wi-Fi or mobile data).

    • Try toggling Airplane Mode on/off or switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

  2. Update Google Pay App

    • Go to Play Store / App Store, see if there’s an update for Google Pay.

    • Running an outdated version can cause communication errors.

  3. Clear Cache & Data (on Android)

    • Go to Settings → Apps → Google Pay → Storage.

    • Tap Clear Cache, then Clear Data / Clear Storage.

    • This removes any corrupted files that might be interfering.

  4. Restart Your Device

    • Power off and turn it on again. Sometimes a fresh session clears temporary glitches.

  5. Re‑add / Verify Payment Method or Bank Account

    • Remove and then add your card or bank again.

    • Double-check that the bank account details (account number, IFSC, etc.) are all correct.

  6. Wait & Try Later

    • The issue might be on your bank’s end (server downtime or maintenance).

    • Try your transaction at off-peak hours (late night / early morning) when server load might be lower.

  7. Update Your Operating System

    • Ensure your phone’s OS is up to date.

    • Compatibility issues or old system bugs might block secure connections.

  8. Contact Support (Bank / Google Pay)

    • If nothing works, contact your bank to see if there are restrictions or server issues on their side.

    • Also reach out to Google Pay support with the error code U13, device model, OS version, etc.
