EDC Las Vegas Wristband Activation 2024 : How Do I Register and Activate My EDC Wristband?
To activate your EDC Las Vegas Wristband, register into lasvegas.electricdaisycarnival.com and enter the Credential ID located on the underside of the RFID badge. Hover over the info icon on the left to see an example of a Credential ID.
Fear not as you can still purchase a Vibee package without a festival pass and take advantage of all the perks that Hotel EDC has to offer.
You’ve received your credentials in the mail. Hooray! Next step is registering and activating them before you get to the festival.
1. Navigate to the festival’s wristband registration page. Registration will be embedded in the festival’s website, and will NOT always look exactly like the screenshot below.
2. Enter the Credential ID located on the underside of the RFID badge. Hover over the info icon on the left to see an example of a Credential ID.
3. Either register by using your email address and personal information OR log in with Facebook. Only one (1) email address OR one (1) Facebook account can be associated to each credential.
If logging in with Facebook, ensure the browser’s pop-up blocker is disabled for the duration of this process and follow the Facebook prompts to complete your credential registration.
4. If logging in using your personal information, complete all required fields and click on “Register”.
You will receive an email with your registration account password shortly after.
HOW DOES MY WRISTBAND WORK?
Attached to each wristband is an encrypted RFID chip that acts as your ticket. Upon arrival to the festival, patrons will be required to scan their wristband against an RFID scanning device to validate entry.
You will be required to register your wristband before entering the festival. This will activate the RFID chip and associate personal information with it.
All wristbands also feature a locking mechanism that will not slide back once tightened. Please ensure you do not tighten your wristband before you head to the festival. If your wristband is damaged, overtightened, or tampered with, it will become VOID and will be required to be replaced at the festival’s box office for a fee. Treat your wristband like cash!!!
WHEN SHOULD I PUT ON MY WRISTBAND?
Although it can be tempting to put your wristband on when you receive it in the mail (we get it!!!), we suggest waiting until you are leaving for the festival to put it on your wrist. This will prevent any situation where it could be overtightened or damage, which will lead to it needing to be replaced.
