E-Verify Company Identification Number | Self Check

You can find your company’s E-Verify Company Identification Number (Company ID) in a few ways. The most direct method is to look at the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that the company signed when it enrolled in E-Verify.

The Company ID, which is a 4 to 7-digit numerical code, is located on the top of each page of the MOU, right under the E-Verify logo.

If you need your E‑Verify Company Identification Number (also referred to as the E‑Verify ID), here’s how to locate it and what it means:

What is the Company Identification Number (E‑Verify ID)?

The E‑Verify Company ID Number is a unique identifier—typically 4 to 7 numerical digits—assigned to your organization when you register for E‑Verify. It appears on official E‑Verify documents and is used for account identification.

Note: This is distinct from your company’s EIN (Employer Identification Number), which is a separate nine-digit number used for tax purposes.

Where to Find Your E‑Verify Company ID

1. On the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

The number appears directly below the E‑Verify logo on every page of your MOU—look for a 4–7 digit number.

2. Within the E‑Verify Portal

If you or your program administrator have access:

  • Log in to E‑Verify.

  • Navigate to Company AccountCompany Profile or Edit Company Profile.

  • The Company ID is displayed on the Company Information page.

3. Corporate Administrator View

If part of a larger corporation with multiple E‑Verify accounts:

  • Go to Company LocationsManage Company Locations.

  • Search your location; your individual Company ID will be listed.

4. If Using an Employer Agent (Client Company ID)

If your company is enrolled via an employer agent:

  • In the portal, go to ClientsManage Clients → click View next to your company.

  • This displays your Client Company ID Number.
