1. “Please restart the emSigner” or “emSigner is not running”

✅ Solution:

• Ensure the emSigner utility is installed and running.

• Steps:

  1. Download it from: https://www.gst.gov.in/help/docsigner

  2. Install the utility.

  3. Right-click on emSigner → Run as Administrator.

  4. Open your browser and go to https://127.0.0.1:1585 to check if it’s active.

⚠️ Note: The port must match—commonly 1585 or 2095 depending on your emSigner version.

2. “Digital Signature Certificate not found” or “PAN does not match”

• Ensure the DSC is registered on the GST portal under the correct PAN.
