DITO SIM Registration | Register and Activate DITO SIM

To use a new DITO SIM card in the Philippines, you must first register it according to the SIM Registration Act. The registration and activation process can be done easily through the DITO App or the official DITO website.

Once the registration is complete, your SIM will automatically activate.

Here’s a clear step-by-step guide for DITO SIM registration and activation:

1. Prepare Before Registering

• Your DITO SIM (still in packaging or already inserted into your phone)

• Valid government-issued ID (e.g., Passport, Driver’s License, SSS, UMID, PhilID, etc.)

• A smartphone that supports DITO’s network (VoLTE-capable and preferably 4G/5G)

2. Insert Your DITO SIM

1. Turn off your phone.

2. Insert the DITO SIM into your SIM slot.

3. Power on your phone.

4. Wait for the signal to appear (it may take a few seconds).

3. Register Your DITO SIM

As per the Philippines SIM Registration Act (RA 11934), you must register before activation.

Option A: Using the DITO App

1. Download the DITO App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

2. Open the app and select SIM Registration.

3. Enter your mobile number (the one from the new SIM).

4. You’ll receive an OTP code via SMS — enter it to proceed.

5. Fill in your personal details and upload a photo of your valid ID plus a selfie.

6. Submit your registration form.

Option B: Via DITO Registration Website

1. Go to the DITO SIM Registration portal → https://register.dito.ph

2. Enter your DITO mobile number.

3. Receive and enter the OTP sent via SMS.

4. Complete the form with your details and upload ID + selfie.

5. Submit.

4. Activate Your SIM

• After successful registration, your SIM should automatically activate within minutes.

• You will receive a confirmation SMS from DITO.

• If activation doesn’t happen after 24 hours, restart your phone or contact DITO Customer Care (via 185 hotline or app chat).

5. Load and Start Using

• Buy load or promos via the DITO App, GCash, PayMaya, or partner stores.

• Enjoy calling, texting, and mobile data on DITO’s network.

Requirements for Registration

Before you begin, have the following ready:

• A valid government-issued ID with a photo. Accepted IDs include a Passport, SSS ID, Driver’s License, PRC ID, or Voter’s ID.
• Your DITO SIM card number. This can be found on the SIM card packaging.
• A photo of yourself holding your valid ID.
• Your personal information, including your full name, date of birth, gender, and address.

💡 Tip: If your phone shows “No Service” after registration, make sure VoLTE is turned ON in your phone’s settings.

The activation process is automatic and linked to your registration. After successfully registering, your SIM will be activated, and you’ll receive a welcome SMS to confirm. At this point, you can start making calls, sending texts, and using mobile data.
