Juan Pablo Montoya has never been accused of being a bad race driver. There are only three drivers who have won races in the IndyCar series, Formula One, and the NASCAR Cup Series.

When he was involved in one of racing’s most bizarre incidents at the Daytona 500 10 years ago, some people were understandably sceptical of the Colombian driver. When JPM ran into a jet dryer, this is what happened.

A multi-sport legend, Juan Pablo Montoya has won numerous championships over the course of his illustrious career.

Montoya has been an outstanding performer throughout his career. In the CART Series in 1999, a rookie driver won seven races and the season championship.

While racing full-time for CART, he raced once for the IndyCar Series at the Indianapolis 500 a year later. As it turned out, he was a resounding success.

The following year, Montoya made the switch to working full-time for Formula One. In the following year, he won a race and finished sixth in the standings. Since then, he’s won five more races and finished third in two of them, with his best seasons coming in 2002 and 2003.

Since then, he has been a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver, winning his first race at Sonoma in 2007.
