Core Teacher Eligibility Test, updates to CTET 2021 are here. According to reports from sources, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, will soon release the official notice of the examination. However, it is known that CTET 2021 registration process is likely to start at the official website – ctet.nic.in on 20 September 2021.

CTET 2021 should also be tentatively conducted by December. Reports indicate that the examination will take place between 16, 2021 and 13 January 2022 at any time. It will be a computer-based CBT test and will be conducted in approximately 20 languages. While the official notification is awaited, these dates are only timely and can be modified at any time. Upon publication of the official notification, the final dates and information will be updated here.

Candidates can apply on the official website for CTET 2021. During the application form, they will also be charged the required fee according to the category in which they apply. The provisional application fee for various categories is given below.

It is also notified that the next CTET examination will be conducted during December 2021/January 2022 in on-line mode which will motivate the futuristic teachers to become computer literate. It will also save huge paper wastage on account of printing of question papers and OMR sheets. Online CTET examination compliant with strict COVID protocols would ensure not only safety but would facilitate a faster processing and declaration of results. The CBSE will set up facilitation centres in the districts where the candidates will be provided (free of cost) facility of attempting online mock test.

The detailed notification regarding schedule for submission of online application form for next examination of CTET and dates of examination will be issued separately in due course of time.
