Here’s what you need to know:
What is Bridge Pay?
Cricket BridgePay is a program offered by Cricket Wireless that allows customers to split their monthly bill into two separate payments. This is designed to provide flexibility for customers who may need a little extra time to pay their full amount due.
How It Works & Cost Breakdown
Deactivate AutoPay
Bridge Pay requires AutoPay to be turned off. You can re-enable it after you complete your second payment.
Fees
Single-line accounts: $5 fee
Multi-line accounts: $15 fee
These are added to your initial partial payment and your second payment includes any remaining balance plus any monthly features.
Billing Example (Single-Line):
Plan 7-Day Charge Fee 1st Payment 2nd Payment $30 plan $10 $5 $15 $20 Reactivation if Suspended
If your service is suspended after missing the due date, you can still use Bridge Pay within 7 days after suspending. Once the first payment is made, your service is reactivated and your billing cycle resets.
Extension Option
You can extend Bridge Pay by another 7 days (within the initial Bridge Pay period) by paying the applicable fee again ($5 single-line, $15 multi-line).
One-Time Use Per Billing Cycle
You can only set up Bridge Pay once per billing cycle.

Common Issues & Community Feedback
Troubles During Activation
Some users report that in automated phone systems, you need to wait without pressing any buttons—especially not “#”, to see the Bridge Pay option appear:
“Don’t hit pound. Wait a couple of seconds and then it’ll give you the Bridge Pay option.
Skipping or Forgetting the Second Payment
If the second payment is missed, your service can be suspended—sometimes even sooner than the expected 7-day window:
“I made the initial payment… next day, got notice to complete payment or service suspended.”
Extensions & Payment Confusion
Extensions have associated costs and can sometimes be confusing:
“Bridge Pay is broken into two payments… you pay $75, then $75 remainder… $15 is the Bridge Pay fee.”
And importantly:
“Only one BridgePay is available per billing cycle… if you miss it, you must pay full bill; the Bridge Pay amount is lost.”
