To activate your CareCredit card, Go to carecredit.com/login, and click on the Consumer (Cardholder) Login button. Navigate to the Card Activation or similar section in your account dashboard.

Follow these steps:


🔐 Step 1: Access the CareCredit Login Page

Go to carecredit.com/login, and click on the Consumer (Cardholder) Login button. This will redirect you to the Synchrony Bank login portal.


Step 2: Register If You Haven’t Already

  • If this is your first time logging in, select “Register” on the Synchrony page.

  • You’ll need your CareCredit account number, last 4 digits of your SSN, and your date of birth.

  • Follow the prompts to create a username, password, security questions, and enroll for online statements.


Step 3: Log In & Activate Your Card

Once logged in:

  1. Navigate to the Card Activation or similar section in your account dashboard.

  2. You’ll be prompted for:

    • Account number (printed on the front of your card or statement).

    • 3‑digit security code (CVV) from the back of your card.

    • Last four digits of your SSN for verification.

    • (Your date of birth may be optional.)

  3. Submit this information to activate the card.

Step 4: Confirmation & Usage

  • After successful activation, the card is ready to use immediately.

  • If you upgraded to the CareCredit Rewards Mastercard, your previous CareCredit card account and balances will automatically transfer to the new card.

  • If your card arrived with an activation sticker, you may be required to call the phone number listed on that sticker instead of using the online method.
