To activate your CareCredit card, Go to carecredit.com/login, and click on the Consumer (Cardholder) Login button. Navigate to the Card Activation or similar section in your account dashboard.

Go to carecredit.com/login, and click on the Consumer (Cardholder) Login button. This will redirect you to the Synchrony Bank login portal.
Step 2: Register If You Havenât Already
If this is your first time logging in, select âRegisterâ on the Synchrony page.
Youâll need your CareCredit account number, lastâŻ4 digits of your SSN, and your date of birth.
Follow the prompts to create a username, password, security questions, and enroll for online statements.
Step 3: Log In & Activate Your Card
Once logged in:
Navigate to the Card Activation or similar section in your account dashboard.
Youâll be prompted for:
Account number (printed on the front of your card or statement).
3âdigit security code (CVV) from the back of your card.
Last four digits of your SSN for verification.
(Your date of birth may be optional.)
Submit this information to activate the card.

Step 4: Confirmation & Usage
After successful activation, the card is ready to use immediately.
If you upgraded to the CareCredit Rewards Mastercard, your previous CareCredit card account and balances will automatically transfer to the new card.
If your card arrived with an activation sticker, you may be required to call the phone number listed on that sticker instead of using the online method.
