To activate your Natwest Business Card, login into businesscard.natwest.com and enter the Card number and the CVV code printed on the back of the card. Enter your activation code.

You’ll need an Online Banking activation code when you register or re-register for Online Banking. It’s used to generate or reset your security number and password for your online access.

We’ll send your activation code by text message if you have a valid mobile number, or by post if you don’t have one on file. You should receive a text message immediately, which is valid for 20 minutes. Or if it’s sent by post it should arrive in 7-10 working days, and will be valid for 45 days from the date on the letter.

1. Enter the User ID. If you’re new to SDOL, your user ID will be in the activation code email or letter we sent you. If you’re an existing SDOL user, please enter your usual user ID. If you have forgotten it please contact your SDOL administrator who will be able to send you a reminder

3. Now Create Strong Password

4. Now Set Secret Question and Answer.

5. Click on Continue Button.

How do I activate my Online Banking account using my customer number and activation code?

To activate Online Banking using you customer number and activation code:

  1. Go to www.onlinebanking.natwest.com(opens in a new window).
  2. Enter your customer number.
  3. Enter your activation code. This is the code we sent you by post or text message.
  4. Create a 4 digit PIN, and a password. The password needs to be between 6 and 20 characters long, and contain letters and numbers.

You’ll always need your customer number, PIN and password to log into Online Banking. And for extra account security, you may sometimes need to use a card reader to confirm your identity.

How do I register for online banking?

Just follow this step-by-step guide:

  1. Head to set up Online Banking(opens in a new window) and let us know if you are a Personal, Business or Credit card customer.
  2. Enter your personal details. We’ll need details including your name, date of birth, sort code and account number
  3. We’ll show you your customer number on screen (you’re making good progress at this point). Make a note of it as you’ll need it when you log in, in the future. If we don’t need anything else from you you’ll skip straight to step 7, but you may need to go to step 4, don’t worry we’ll let you know on screen
  4. We’ll then send you an activation code. We’ll send you your activation code in a text message. Or if we don’t have your phone number, we’ll send it through the post
  5. Go to the NatWest website and click ‘login’ in the top right-hand corner, have your activation code to hand.
  6. On the login page, type in your customer number and activation code.
  7. Now you need to choose a password and PIN and commit them to memory. The PIN should be four digits long and your password can be between six and twenty characters, and contain both letters and numbers.
  8. Done, finished, complete. Now you can manage your finances anywhere you can get online (you can also register for our mobile app too).
