To activate a BMO Corporate Card, you can either sign in to BMO Digital Banking for Business or call the designated BMO Commercial Card customer service number.
The activation method depends on whether you have online access and what type of card you have.

Online through BMO’s corporate card portal
BMO has a page titled “Activate My BMO or Diners Club Corporate Card”.
You would typically:Go to the BMO corporate/credit card website.
Log in (or provide card/account info).
Follow prompts to activate (enter card number, security info, etc.).
By phone
BMO Rewards Commercial Mastercard: Call 1-855-825-9232.
For other Commercial Card services (Canada & USA): Call 1-800-361-3361 or 1-888-267-7834.
BMO Corporate Client Services (Canada & USA): Call 1-800-844-6445.
In branch / with your company’s program manager
Some corporate cards require that the card owner or the company’s credit administrator confirm or complete activation in person.

Register for online account access
If you are a new corporate cardholder and have not yet registered for online access, you will first need to do so before activating your card online.
- Visit the Business Credit Card Online Access registration page.
- Click on Not Registered?.
- Enter your company account number, which can be found on your welcome letter or account statement.
- Submit your company information to complete the registration process.
⚠️ Security and verification tips
Make sure you’re on the official BMO website, with a secure connection (HTTPS + padlock icon).
Do not enter your full banking password or credentials unless prompted by BMO’s secure portal.
Use only trusted networks (avoid public WiFi when doing financial activation).
