Other Important Steps
- Change your passwords if you believe they have been compromised.
- Report the fraud to the police. In England, Wales, or Northern Ireland, you should report all fraud and scams to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or online. If you are in Scotland, report it to Police Scotland by calling 101.
- Do not respond to any suspicious texts, emails, or phone calls. A genuine Barclays employee will never ask for your full PIN, password, or to move money to a “safe account.”
